Jeff and Cori Taylor

The Taylor, Jacks, and Tipton families have been connected to this farm for well over 100 years.  Both sides of Jeff's family had grown up and worked on the farm surrounding the old cotton gin. It was only natural for them to want to restore the property which had fallen into major disrepair.

Living just on the other side of the Flint River Bridge allowed them to see the potential for an "adaptive restoration/reuse" effort for the Gin to create a venue that would fit the needs of the Huntsville/N. Alabama area. Both have extensive backgrounds in Facilities/Event Management and Customer Service and understand the associated requirements for successful events.

He and wife Cori began pursuing their "American Dream" back in 2014 by purchasing the old General Store building.  When the opportunity presented itself to buy the Gin and adjacent buildings, they jumped on it. Along with the help of great family (special shoutout to Momma- Linda Patterson) and friends, they have created a truly unique destination venue. Their intent is to keep this important piece of Alabama history alive, continue telling the incredible stories, and offer others the opportunity to share in the beauty of this special place.
